Identity/The mark

The mark

Four pieces of sheath around a core — with its files ready to download.

Four pieces of sheath around a nerve axon — and it is also the O in the name.

The logoThe mark in the name

The full MYELON logo: the name, with the mark in place of the O

The mark is itself theO in MYELON, so the symbol never comes apart from the word. The name is set in Outfit at weight 700, with letter-spacing 0.1em.

Turquoise is for the core alone; in the one-colour version for print and stamps, the core takes the colour of the pieces.

We tested it at 24 pixels: the gaps stay visible, the core stays clear, and the ring doesn't close up. We never use it smaller than that.

What doesn't change

  • The four gaps are fixed — they are what the mark means, so we never close them or rotate the pieces.
  • Turquoise is for the core alone — and we use it for nothing else.
  • We never distort the mark's proportions or add a shadow or gradient; we use it exactly as it is in its files.
